For the Miami Art Week, CRAITR unveils its inaugural collection, shedding light on the external perception of how an AI, trained by humans, looks on our society today.

A particular emphasis is placed on the younger generation, navigating the delicate balance between self-realization and self-destruction while seeking meaning and purpose on our planet.

The selected portraits are the focal point of this exhibition. It’s a way for our society to gaze into its own reflection; input equates to output.

Carol P. Govaert

Carol is a first-generation American of Latin American descent. As a conceptual photographer, she is both eclectic and experimental. Her work isn’t confined to a specific genre; rather, it’s characterized by a distinct atmosphere, one that is moody, eerie, melancholic, and cinematic. What truly inspires her is the darker side of life.

Carol is captivated by the shadowy, murky, and sometimes depraved aspects of human nature. Photography serves as her medium for processing the world’s complexities and her own fears.

Maritta Winter

Maritta Winter (1961) has been an active artist for over twenty years. Since 2007 she has exhibited at international art fairs such as Art Prague, Europ’Art Genève, Salon des Beaux Arts Paris and Art Karlsruhe.

The artist works in large formats for public space as well as in various scales for the art lover. She draws her inspiration from her intuitive feel for growth, architectonics and movement. A recurring theme in her work is the union of two volumes and the unfolding of movement that seems to swing into the space.

“The shapes find me,” is how she describes her intuition. This has to do with feeling - instinctually perceiving volumes, edges and transitions between shapes. It is also a visual process that involves determining the point at which the outline of the shape achieves perfection.

Omar Rigoni

Omar Rigoni was born in Zürich on October 2, 1980.

In his paintings everything is in motion, longing for boundlessness, dancing on a volcano. Like bubbling lava his paintings radiate heat and colorful energy and blazes real love of life.

Simultaneously, the viewer senses the restlessness underneath the colorful, bubbling surface which keeps the viewer’s perception busy. The subjects of his paintings deal with anger, fear, frustration and the terrible impotence of people towards injustice, cruelty - of body and mind -, the power of climate change, terminal medical verdicts, and more.

They may not always be enjoyable subjects, but they are experienced everyday by everybody. Therefore, Omar’s paintings are easily accessible to the viewer. People recognize their own fears, their own vulnerability. They connect.

Bardh-I (Rafet) Jonuzi-T

Cognitions of Molecular Biology are showing that biological processes are determined by laws of Physics and Chemistry same as planetary orbits.

An experiment, in which patient are subjected to brain surgery in conscious state, shows how patients under influence of electrical stimulus to certain parts of brain, are being provoked to lift up leg or arm or move lips and even speak. One can hardly say that we have free will when our behavior is also determined by laws of physics.

With series of drawings and installations artist engages itself in the search for New Human. What is and where is what we commonly call human, and do we need new definition of it so desperately? He leaves us question about numerous possibilities and impossibilities of the world we inhabit and the one we don’t. His art is base and inspired with contemporary scientific discoveries.

Bardh-I (Rafet) Jonuzi-T (1964) is experimenting with art methods, and one could say that his method is the Experiment itself. His question revealed, we are lured into zero point with coordinates spreading infinitely all directions; in the unknown of micro and macro cosmos. Exhibition is light-years travel to the “Question mark” outpost.
